			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-110" title="Mining Ind_02" src="http://aptri.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/mining-ind_021.jpg?w=81&#038;h=96" alt="Mining Ind_02" width="81" height="96" />Mining Indonesia 2009 will take place 14-17 October at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran.   It will form part of the Energy and Mining Indonesia Series of Trade Exhibitions which also includes three other specialised trade exhibitions held in different halls, Building and Construction Indonesia, Electric Indonesia and Oil and Gas Indonesia occupying all nine halls at the exhibition centre.</p>
<p>Mining Indonesia 2009 the 14th in its series and largest in its history, will bring together over 600 companies from 34 countries covering an area of 16,000sqm, showing the huge potential in Indonesia’s Mining Sector. National Pavilions from Australia, Canada, Germany, Poland, Russia, Singapore and the UK will showcase the latest mining technology and equipment.</p>
<p>Leading players including Atlas Copco, Chetra, Daimler Chrysler, Getribebau Nord, MTU, Kobexindo, Hexindo, JCB, Supra Bakti, Renault Trucks, United Tractors, JSG Industrial and Terex <span id="more-108"></span></p>
<p>As with previous years a high level conference will be organized by IMA under the theme, “Mining Indonesia:Unlocking Mineral Potential”. Indonesia currently ranks 5th in the world in terms of its mineral potential according to the Fraser Institute. The conference will discuss the possibilities of unlocking the countries mineral wealth for the benefit of all Indonesians. Following the new Mining Law in January 2009 the regulatory platform is taking shape which should also signal a new era of growth and prosperity for Indonesia’s mining industry.</p>
<p>Mining Indonesia has once again garnered the full support from the Department of Energy and Mines, the Indonesian Mining Association (IMA) and the Indonesian Coal Mining  Association.</p>
<p>The Energy and Mining Indonesia Series of Trade Exhibitions are expected to be officiated by the President of Indonesia H.E DR. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, stressing the huge importance the government places on these industries to Indonesia’s future economic development.</p>

<p>Making the announcement, Dr Hidde Smit, the IRSG’s secretary-general, said: <em><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">“Joining forces with TyrexpoAsia is a perfect opportunity for us to add real value to our World Rubber Summit in Singapore. I know this will be welcomed by the hundreds of delegates, speakers and high profile figures from the global rubber industries who will be in Singapore next March</span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;" lang="IN"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><em><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;">“TyrexpoAsia is a well established and respected exhibition and the opportunity to link with the show is a natural and complementary association as far as the IRSG is concerned.”</span></em><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;"></span></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-105" title="tyrexpo_02" src="http://aptri.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/tyrexpo_02.jpg?w=300&#038;h=208" alt="tyrexpo_02" width="300" height="208" />Paul Farrant, managing director for ECI International, the organiser of Tyrexpo Asia, commented: <em><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">“ECI is delighted to have reached this agreement with the IRSG. We fully believe the combination of these two high profile industry events will add enormously to each other in terms of attracting more delegates and visitors and establishing new relationships between rubber suppliers and tyre and equipment manufacturers.</span></em> <span id="more-104"></span></p>
<p><em><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">”Next March will see the seventh consecutive staging of TyrexpoAsia and we see this association with the IRSG as further evidence of our continued interest and commitment to working in Singapore, helping to maintain its position at the forefront of the global rubber industry,”</span></em> he added.</p>
<p>The World Rubber Summit will take place on <strong><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">23 and 24 March</span></strong> next year at the <strong><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">Singapore Expo Centre,</span></strong> while TyrexpoAsia runs from 24 to 26 March, at the same venue. Floor space at the exhibition is already more than 65% sold, with exhibitors from over 40 countries worldwide confirmed.</p>

Feedback from show exhibitors was very positive, with the substantial time and effort invested in stand designs clearly paying dividends.</span></p>

It was our plan to meet current distributors and form new relationships. Overall, it was a good marketing exercise and an excellent showcase for our brand.”</span></p>
<p>BKT were quoted: “BKT is glad to have participated in the 2007 Tyrexpo Asia show. The show went very well for us and it gave us an opportunity to introduce our existing &amp; new product lines to the international pool of trade visitors. The Show was organized very nicely and it was successfully done. It was the right platform to take leads for new businesses. The response was good and we were able to meet up with some of our old clients and also successfully attract some potential inquiries.&#8221; Overall, it was a good marketing exercise and an excellent showcase for our brand and the vast range of tyres”</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Rajesh Khatri, GM-International Sales for another first time participant Agarwal Rubber Limited commented; &#8220;The main reason for us to be in this show is that we already export to 32 countries and we are now looking for good distributors in Malaysia and Singapore. The crowd was good for the first day and we were able to meet up with some of our old clients and also successfully attracted some potential enquiries.&#8221;</p>

The exhibition gave us further opportunity to introduce our existing and new product lines to the international pool of trade visitors. It was also a time to gather and meet old but good friends to rekindle the business relationship and at the same time, make new friends and contacts throughout the duration<br />
of this fruitful event&#8221;.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;">The seventh Tyrexpo Asia has already been confirmed for the Singapore Expo Centre from <strong><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">24-26 March 2009</span></strong>.</span></p>
<p>The show dates have been brought forward by six months to avoid the increasingly congested exhibition calendar in the region during September.</p>
<p>Expanding upon the decision, Rowena Suthers said: &#8220;We want to give everyone who supports the show the very best opportunity to maximise their investment. In the past, September has been a good month to stage Tyrexpo Asia but with an increasing number of tyre and automotive exhibitions springing up in the region, we think the time is right to bring the show forward. This will give exhibitors and visitors more time and opportunities to plan their marketing activity over the course of the year&#8221;.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;"><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;" lang="IN"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:9pt;font-family:Tahoma;">“This move has been made after careful consideration and with the full backing of many of our most loyal and committed exhibitors, who recognise the value of re-establishing an exclusive slot for the show in the Asian exhibition calendar,” she added.</span></p>

Aku jebolan dari Universitas Islam Surakarta (UNIS) Fakultas Teknik Sipil Jurusan Teknik Transportasi. Lampiri Jaya Abadi tepatnya di daerah Teluk Dalam 25 Km dari Samarinda Kalimantan Timur. Aku tidak berpikir panjang langsung mengiyakan saja! <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Kontrak kerjaku habis sampai dengan awal 1990. Selanjutnya aku mencoba mencari informasi tentang Peluang kerja di Kalimantan Selatan. Berdasarkan informasi yang aku dapat bahwa ada Proyect Pembangunan Irigasi Riam kanan di sana. Singkat cerita akhirnya aku dapat bergabung Dengan PT. BASAM salah satu Kontraktor Swasta Nasional yang bergerak di Jasa Transportasi pada proyek tersebut. Aku berhasil memposisikan diri sebagai Chief Operasional membawahi 50 Unit Armada yang ada saat itu.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Pada pertengahan Juni 1993 Perusahan dimana aku bekerja mendapatkan tambahan kontrak Material Supply dan Pekerjaan Sipil dari <a href="http://www.bumiresources.com/" target="_blank">PT. ARUTMIN INDONESIA </a>sebagai salah satu Perusahaan Tambang di Satui Kalimantan Selatan yang saat itu belum melakukan penambangan sendiri, dan masih di Sub kan kepada PT.John Holland.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Di awal thn 1995<span>  </span>PT. Arutmin menjual sebagian sahamnya kepada BHP Minerals Indonesia. Pada saat yang bersamaan mereka merekrut karyawan dengan prioritas utama karyawan ex PT. John Holland. Pada saat itu di butuhkan pula posisi<span>  </span>Foreman untuk Tyre Section. Berbekal dengan sejumlah pengalaman yang ada, khususnya manakala aku menjabat sebagai Chief Operasi dimana salah satu tugas aku adalah melakukan monitoring langsung terhadap pemakaian ban, Down Time Unit serta Budget pemakaian dari ban. Saat itu aku masih ingat pesan dari Big Boss sebelumnya sbb: “SUKSESNYA OPERASIONAL ADALAH DENGAN MENEKAN COST BAN YANG HARUS DIBAWAH DARI 30 % DARI BUDGET OPERASIONAL“</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Pada pertengahan Maret 1995 expatriate bernama Mr. Miles Rigney selaku Tyre Maintenace Advisor dari<span>  </span><a href="www.klinge.com.au">Klinge &amp; Co </a>mendatangiku. Beliau menginginkan aku untuk mengikuti proses seleksi administrasi &amp; proses seleksi lainnya. Efektif per tanggal 15 April 2005 resmilah aku menjabat sebagai Tyre Fitting Foreman pada Tyre Shop PT.Arutmin Indonesia satui Mine.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Serangkaian Training &amp; Orientasi langsung dari Advisor Klinge &amp; Co untuk menguasai Seluk beluk Tyre &amp; aksesorisnya, mulai dari Ban Diorder sampai di Scrap yang terdata dalam <span> </span>Software TTC melalui SAM (Site Akses Modem) yang langsung terkoneksi dengan HO Klinge &amp; Co di Spring Hill Brisbane mulai aku kuasai.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Pada bulan September 2006 aku bersama Bapak Iswaluyo (saat itu sebagai Yunior ku, Saat ini beliau sebagai Tyre Advisore PT. Kaltim Prima Coal) diberi kesempatan untuk mengikuti Training &amp; Visit ke Tambang BHP di Australia.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">dari situ aku mendapatkan tambahan Ilmu &amp; Pengalaman, dan Semakin Mantap serta Percaya Diri Sebagai Seorang “Mandor Ban” dan mulailah segala statemen yang mempengaruhi kerusakan ban dan Solusinya mulai diperhitungkan pihak Operation yang berdampak terhadap Produksi.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Pada Pertengahan September 2006 aku di promosikan menjadi Tyre Support &amp; Service yang membahai Crew Tyre Shop dan juga Transport Logistic Department. Pada bulan Mei 2000 BHP/Arutmin berhenti beroperasi sendiri dan mulai di Sub kan kepada <a href="http://www.thiess.co.id/" target="_blank">PT. Thiess Contractors Indonesia</a>. Mulai ada program aliansi dimana karyawan yang mau bergabung dengan Thiess dapat langsung ditampung, dan aku salah satu karyawan yang sempat bergabung dengan THIESS sebagai Tyre Supervisor sampai dengan tanggal 12 Juni 2001. Selanjutnya aku bergabung dengan PT. OTRACO INDONESIA Site PT. Newmont Sumbawa menjadi “Punggawa-ne” Mr.Yunus Toding sampai dengan bulan Desember 2002 dan kembali Ke Kalimantan Selatan (Banjarbaru).</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Sekembalinya dari Sumbawa dengan sedikit Modal yang ada, bersama dengan teman aku memulai Bisnis Transportasi yaitu Hauling Batubara menjadi Sub Kontraktornya PT.Cipta Kridatama di Batulicin. Usaha ini sempat berjalan selama 3 tahun dan harus berhenti ditengah jalan akibat kenaikan harga ban yang melampui 200 %!!&#8230; Akhirnya kami memutuskan untuk menjual asset yang ada, untuk selanjutnya Usaha dibubarkan. Rupanya dari sini terbetik Hikmah “Wong dapat hasil dari Kerja Ban kok nggak dipakai Bisnis Ban??? yo pasti Gagal!!&#8230;”</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Disaat krisis Ban di tahun 2005 PT. INCO memutuskan alternative “Retreading &amp; Service” untuk tetap “survive” Operasionalnya dan ban tetap aman.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Diawal tahun 2006 terjalin Kontrak Kerja PT. INCO dengan PT. OSSIANA. Aku mendapatkan tawaran untuk bergabung dengan PT. OSSIANA, dan aku langsung menerimanya sampai saatini.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Dengan System kerja 6 : 2 (6 minggu di Site &amp; 2 Minggu Off) maka kebanggaanku sebagai Tukang Ban Semakin lengkap!!&#8230; Khususnya manakala Evaluasi PT. INCO<span>  </span>yang menyatakan dengan adanya perawatan Ban yang intensif terbukti dapat menekan Cost sampai dengan 3 Milyarper tahun!!&#8230;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;">Aku sangat menjiwai Bisnis yang berkaitan dengan Ban (Donat Hitam) yang sudah menjadi duniaku sampai kapanpun. Adapun rencana aku kedepannya, aku sudah mempersiapkan diri untuk merintis Tyre Service Company, sudah pasti saat ini menjadi Owner!!&#8230; Tinggal menghitung Budget/tahun, Semua hal harus aku yang urus mulai Opersional Tyre dan sebagainya…</p>

<p>Demikian perjalanan panjangku sebagai TUKANG BAN. Bukan bermaksud pamer namun tujuannya adalah agar bertambah keakraban diantara kita semua kmunitas APTRI. Paling tidak dapat mengingatkan kepada teman-teman yang lain bahwa Profesi Tukang Ban tidak bisa ditempuh lewal jalur Formal karena Departemen Pendidikan Nasional belum ada rencana untuk mendirikan Sekolah Tinggi Ban/Institut Tehnologi Ban, hahahaha!!!&#8230;. <p><span lang="FI"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Bahkan, kata ahli geologi dunia asal Malaysia, Datu Azis Chemor, pada ekspose &#8220;Peluang Tambang Emas Sulsel&#8221; di ruang Rapim kantor Gubernur Sulsel, di Makassar, Senin. Dalam peta pertambangan dunia, Sulsel merupakan sentra jalur emas di dunia.<span id="more-69"></span><br />

Ekspose potensi tambang emas Sulsel yang menjanjikan kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih baik di masa mendatang dihadiri Gubernur Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Wagub Agus Arifin Nu’mang, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati daerah tersebut.<br />
   <br />
Potensi tambang emas Sulsel tersebar di sejumlah kabupaten, yakni Luwu, Luwu Utara, Palopo, Luwu Timur, Tanatoraja, Pangkep, Barru, Bone, Jeneponto, Takalar, Gowa, Maros, Selayar dan Wajo, perlu dijaga dan diawasi supaya dapat diolah menjadi industri yang menjanjikan kehidupan yang layak bagi warga di daerah itu.<br />
   <br />
Hanya saja, lanjutnya, untuk pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam ini menjadi  emas maka harus dibangun industrinya yang investasinya cukup besar, termasuk desain lokasinya, survey lapangan, studi kelayakannya dan lainnya.<br />
   <br />
Menurut Datu Azis yang didampingi Edward Brennan, ahli pertambangan asal Australia, kandungan emas yang tersimpan di perut bumi sedalam lebih kurang 200 meter banyak ditemukan dalam kawasan hutan lindung di daerah kabupaten tersebut sehingga jika akan dikelola bisa berbenturan dengan instansi yang menangani kehutanan.<br />
   <br />
&#8220;Bank Dunia takut mendanai tambang emas sebab banyak risikonya,&#8221; ujarnya seraya menambahkan, sudah banyak investor asing melirik potensi ini untuk diolah menjadi industri emas.<br />
   <br />
Gubernur Sulsel Syahrul Yasin Limpo meminta para bupati dan anggota muspida kabupaten/kota menjaga tambang emas yang banyak dijumpai di daerah ini supaya orang-orang tidak masuk ke area kawasan hutan lindung yang banyak menyimpan emas.</span></span></span></p>

<p>Incident Date: 29 November 2007.</p>
<p>Nature of Incident: A Cat 789C truck was parked on the go-line when it was struck by lightning.<span id="more-35"></span></p>
<p>Incident Outcome: No injury to any personnel. Three tyres on the near side exploded sending a shock wave and wheel components causing damage to the truck, surrounding buildings and nearby vehicles.</p>
<p>ISR Actual Rating 2A, ISR Potential Rating 4P.</p>
<p>The Incident: During an afternoon storm a parked Cat 789C truck was struck by lightning causing the three near side tyres to explode some 4 minutes after the strike. The air blast and shock wave caused damage to the truck and broke several windows in the nearby buildings including the windscreen of a water truck that was parked nearby. Some rim components were found 300m away from the truck.</p>

<p>Ban adalah bagian paling menakjubkan pada setiap mobil, karena walaupun kontak permukaannya dengan bumi hanya sebesar kartu pos, mempunyai pengaruh begitu besar pada kenyamanan dan performa mobil. Bahkan, kita bisa mengatakan bahwa ban adalah bagian terpenting dari setiap mobil. Oleh sebab itu, banyak pemilik mobil menganggap cara paling sederhana meningkatkan kinerja mobil mereka adalah mengganti ban. Mereka yang skeptis mungkin mempertanyakan kebutuhan mengganti ban yang datang dengan mobil ketika pertama kali keluar dari pabrik, karena bukankah pabrik seharusnya adalah yang paling tahu? Benar bahwa pabriklah yang paling tahu, namun pemilihan ban yang digunakan seringkali merupakan kompromi antara performa, kebisingan, abrasi, tahanan dan kenyamanan. Ban-ban pilihan pabrik mempertimbangkan semua faktor ini, dan belum tentu memuaskan mereka yang menginginkan performa yang maksimal. <span id="more-18"></span></p>
<p>Dengan memahami berapa jauh ban mempengaruhi kinerja kendaraan, kita bisa melihat berbagai pilihan untuk mengupgrade. Peningkatan kinerja bisa dicapai pada salah satu dari dua aspek.</p>
<p>Upgrade Spesifikasi Ban<br />
Ban-ban yang lebih mahal biasanya menggunakan material yang lebih baik di samping memiliki garis-garis telapak ban yang didesain lebih elok. Di samping itu, ban-ban mahal tidak menimbulkan suara gesekan dengan jalan yang terlalu keras, memungkinkan pengendalian yang lebih baik di atas air dan daya cengkeram yang lebih baik ke permukaan jalan</p>
<p>Tire specification upgrade</p>
<p>Cara lain untuk mengupgrade adalah membeli velg dan ban yang lebih besar dengan memperhatikan batas-batas keamanan yang ditetapkan oleh pembuat mobil. Tujuan utama mereka yang melakukan upgrade ini adalah meningkatkan penampilan mobil mereka, sementara peningkatan daya cengkeram, keselamatan dan pengendalian hanya merupakan manfaat tambahan saja. Manfaat ini tetap saja ada artinya, sehingga upgrade semacam ini sama dengan sambil menyelam minum air.<br />
Dari analisis yang sederhana di atas, mungkin pembaca berpikir bahwa pilihan ke dua adalah yang lebih baik. Selain memberikan manfaat dari opsi pertama, opsi ini juga meningkatkan profil mobil Anda. Jangan lupa bahwa ban yang lebih besar berarti berat mobil yang lebih besar pula. Ditambah dengan daya cengkeram yang lebih kuat karena ban yang lebih lebar, hal ini bisa mengurangi kemampuan berakselerasi (salah satu aspek kinerja). Pilihan ke dua juga lebih mahal, karena untuk membuat ban yang lebih besar dan lebih lebar dibutuhkan material yang lebih baik pula.</p>
<p>Oleh sebab itu, ada beberapa pertimbangan yang harus dipikirkan sebelum memilih opsi yang lebih baik buat Anda:<br />
1. Apakah Anda benar-benar tidak puas dengan spesifikasi ban yang Anda gunakan saat ini?<br />
2. Apakah Anda ingin meningkatkan satu atau dua aspek saja? Misalnya suara gesekan dengan jalan, pengendalian dalam genangan air atau daya cengkeram?<br />
3. Apakah ada kemungkinan mendapatkan upgrade dalam paket murah, yang termasuk velg dan ban?<br />
4. Apakah mobil Anda mampu memanfaatkan performa ban yang lebih besar?</p>
<p>Pemilik mobil baru sebaiknya tidak tergesa-gesa mengupgrade velg yang diberikan pabrik, karena ban yang sudah terpasang akan menjadi biaya yang tidak bisa ditutupi. Yang harus menjadi pertimbangan adalah apakah Anda dapat menerima performa ban dari pabrik untuk sementara. Upgrading dapat dipertimbangkan kalau sudah tiba waktunya untuk mengganti ban Anda.</p>
<p>Anda juga harus mempertimbangkan tenaga mesin mobil Anda (horsepower, atau hp) sebelum memutuskan untuk mengganti ban. Kalau tenaganya kecil, Anda tidak akan meningkatkan performa dengan menggunakan ban yang lebih besar. Misalnya, kebanyakan mobil di Indonesia termasuk kategori mobil penumpang bermesin 1.000 cc sampai 1.500 cc.</p>
<p>Kebanyakan mobil dalam kategori ini beratnya adalah 1 sampai 1,2 ton dan memberikan tenaga sebesar 115 hingga 135 hp serta menggunakan ban-ban berukuran 185/60R14. Dalam hal ini, peningkatan kinerja dapat dicapai bila ban diganti dengan 185/65R14 atau lebar ban dikurangi menjadi 175 milimeter. Namun, kebanyakan pemilik mobil justru memilih 195/50R15 atau 195/55R15, yang berakibat berat yang bertambah dan konsumsi BBM yang boros.</p>
<p>Sebaliknya, bila kendaraan Anda memberikan hp di atas 200, mengganti ukuran dan lebar ban mungkin akan meningkatkan pengendalian karena cengkeraman yang lebih baik.</p>
<p>Setelah Anda memutuskan untuk mengupgrade ban-ban Anda, Anda harus mengerjakan PR Anda. Ban mana yang terbaik yang masih berada dalam anggaran Anda? Merek mana saja yang terbaik. Desain tapak seperti apa yang Anda lebih sukai? Biasanya, semakin berat ban, semakin dalam dan semakin elok desain telapaknya, dan sekaligus lebih baik pula daya cengkeramnya.</p>
<p>Bagi seorang pemilik mobil, yang paling penting adalah mengetahui ukuran velg maksimum yang dapat dipasang di mobilnya. Ada cara mudah untuk mengetahuinya. Diameter velg yang baru tidak boleh melampaui 3% lebih besar daripada yang orisinal. Umpamanya:</p>
<p>Dengan mengambil spesifikasi 185/60R14 sebagai contoh, dengan ukuran diameter orisinal sebagai berikut:<br />
Diameter velg: 14 inci, 14 inci×2,54 cm=35,56 cm.<br />
Dinding pinggir: 60% dari permukaan ban,18,5 cm×0,6=11,1 cm.</p>
<p>Tetapi, karena setiap velg memiliki dua dinding samping, keduanya harus dikalikan 2.<br />
Dinding samping: 11,1 cm×2=22,2 cm.<br />
Diameter: 35,56 cm+22.2 cm=57.76 cm</p>
<p>Mungkinkah mengupgrade ke ban 195/50R15?<br />
Diameter velg: 15 inci, 15 inci×2,54 cm=38,1 cm.<br />
Dinding samping: 50% dari permukaan ban, 19,5 cm×0,5=9,75 centimeters,<br />
Sebagaimana sebelumnya, karena setiap velg memiliki dua dinding samping, dinding-dinding samping ini harus dikalikan 2.</p>
<p>Dinding samping: 9,75 cm×2=19,5 cm<br />
Diameter: 38,1 cm+19.5 cm=57.6 cm</p>
<p>Bila dibandingkan dengan ban berspesifikasi 185/60R14 yang memiliki diameter 57,76 cm, perbedaannya hanya 0,3%, yang masih berada dalam batas-batas yang diperbolehkan.</p>
<p>Tetapi bagaimana kalau kita hanya memperbesar permukaan ban tanpa mengganti ketebalan dinding samping yang menggunakan ban 195/60R14?<br />

<p>Dibandingkan dengan ban berspesifikasi 185/60R14 dengan diameter ban sebesar 57,76 cm, perbedaan kini mencapai 2%, yang sebenarnya masih dalam batas-batas yang dimungkinkan.</p>
<p>Namun, karena diameter telah berubah banyak sekali, lingkar luar ban juga telah berubah, sehingga speedometer tidak akurat lagi. Lebih penting dari itu, ukuran ban yang semakin besar mungkin membuat velg bergesekan dengan dinding mobil setiap kali kemudi dibelokkan sampai maksimum. Hal ini akan menyebabkan keausan yang tidak merata pada ban.</p>
<p>Apa yang dimaksudkan dengan &#8220;Plus 1&#8243; dan &#8220;Plus 2&#8243; dalam gambar di atas?<br />
&#8220;Plus 1&#8243; berarti bahwa jika ketebalan ban dikurangi dari 70 menjadi 60, ukuran ban harus satu inci lebih besar untuk menjaga agar panjang lingkar luar ban tidak berubah.</p>
<p>&#8220;Plus 2&#8243; berarti bahwa jika ketebalan ban diturunkan dari 70 ke 50, ukuran ban harus 2 inci lebih besar</p>

<p><strong><span style="color:#000080;">BRIEF DESCRIPTION/Penjelasan singkat kejadian:</span></strong></p>
<p>CAT 785 C RD 3042 dari awal shift beroperasi di Pit Khayal untuk mengangkut material overburden dari Excavator EX 3015. Aktifitas tersebut terhenti karena turun hujan sekitar pukul 03.00 sore dan pada saat itu RD 3042 berada di dumping point. Karena jalan angkut sudah mulai licin maka operator RD 3042 memarkir unitnya di area dumping Khayal RL 100 bersama dengan truck lain yang sudah parkir terlebih dahulu. Sekitar pukul 04.10 sore petir menyambar RD 3042 yang masih dalam posisi parkir sehingga membuat ban posisi 4, 5, dan 6 meledak serta membuat kaca depan &amp; belakang kabin dan kaca spion kanan pecah. Meletusnya ban tersebut juga mengakibatkan kerusakan pada kaca depan &amp; belakang kabin RD 3102 yang diparkir sekitar 10 meter sebelah kanan RD 3042 dan juga memecahkan kaca belakang kabin RD 3122 yang diparkir disebelah kanan RD 3102. Pada saat petir menyambar RD 3042 operator masih berada di dalam kabin menunggu dijemput oleh supervisor.</p>

<p>From the beginning of the shift, CAT 785C RD3042 was operated at Khayal pit to haul overburden from Excavator EX 3015. Mining activities were stopped due to rain at about 03.00pm and at that time RD 3042 parked the unit at Khayal dumping area RL 100 together with other trucks that had also parked on the dump. At around 04:10pm, lightning struck RD 3042 causing tyre positions 4, 5 &amp; 6 to burst. There was also damage to the front &amp; rear wind screens and the right-side mirror of RD 3042. The tyre bursting also caused damage to the windscreens of RD 3102 and RD3122. At the time of the lightning strike, the operator of RD 3042 was still inside the cabin.</p>

<p style="margin:0;"><strong><span style="color:#000080;">INJURY /DAMAGE:</span></strong></p>
<p style="margin:0;">Tidak ada cedera, kerusakan pada ban RD 3042 posisi 4, 5, 6, Kaca kabin pecah pada RD 3042, RD 3102 dan RD 3122. serta spion kanan RD 3042.</p>

<p style="margin:0;"><strong><span style="color:#000080;">POSSIBLE ACTIONS TO PREVENT RECURRENCE:</span></strong></p>
<p style="margin:0;">Mengkomunikasikan tentang prosedur “lightning” kepada semua karyawan; Jika memungkinkan parkir alat di daerah yang lebih rendah untuk mengurangi resiko tersambar petir; Menjemput operator yang masih berada di dalam kabin jika diidentifkasi terjadi badai petir.</p>

<p style="margin:0;">Communicate the lightning procedure to all employees; Where possible, to park the equipment at a low area, to minimize being struck by lightning; Supervisors to pick up the Operators from exposed Equipment where a lightning storm has been identified.</p>
